This Privacy Policy explains how MagicBoard handles information when you use the app.
Information Collection
MagicBoard does not require account creation and does not intentionally collect personal information.
The app stores the following information locally on your device so the app can function:
- Drawings you save, including titles, drawing elements, colors, canvas metadata, and timestamps.
- Board settings, including default brush size, default background, toolbar preferences, sound and music preferences, and confirmation preferences.
- Temporary exported image files when you choose to share a drawing.
How We Use Your Information
- Save and reopen your drawings on the same device.
- Remember your board and audio settings.
- Create an exported image when you choose to share a drawing.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
MagicBoard does not sell, rent, or share your personal information. Saved drawings remain on your device unless you choose to share or export them.
When you use the share feature, Android’s system share sheet passes the exported image to the app or service you select. That destination app or service is responsible for its own privacy practices.
Third-Party Services
The inspected MagicBoard project does not include Firebase, AdMob, analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, or cloud synchronization services.
Permissions
MagicBoard uses Android app-private storage for saved drawings and settings. It also uses Android’s FileProvider mechanism to securely share exported drawing images with apps you select from the system share sheet.
Data Retention and Deletion
Saved drawings and settings remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. Temporary shared image files may be created during export and are stored in app-managed storage.
Security
MagicBoard uses device-local app storage and Android’s standard file-sharing protections. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but the app is designed to avoid unnecessary collection or transmission of your drawings.
Children’s Privacy
MagicBoard is a general drawing app. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.
